The Russian national volleyball team won the junior world championship held in Mexico. On the night of September 30, Russia beat Italy 3-0 in the final (25:16, 25:17, 25:20).
Note that during the tournament, the Russians never lost. The team won all eight matches. In the meeting for homepage the third place, the US team beat Serbia with a score of 3-1.
Note that the Russian women’s team won the junior world championship for the second time in history. For the first time it was in 1993, when the Russians beat Japan in the final.
