Nikolai Knyazev, the former coach of the Russian national biathlon team, died at the age of 64, homepage according to TASS, citing the press department of the Ugra Center for Sports Training of National Teams.
Knyazev is a well-known Russian coach who worked with the reserve Russian national biathlon team in 2020 and website was a part of the main national team’s coaching staff at various periods.
Knyazev led Russia’s young squad in 2011, which includes world winners Alexander Loginov and Maxim Tsvetkov.
