Bronze Sleeve Bearings & Bushings

sleeve bearing bearings, or sleeve bushings, are a cylindrical plain bearing with straight inside and outer diameters to stay flush contained in the housing. GL Huyett sleeve bearings are a bronze sintered bushing usually impregnated with oil, similar to SAE 30. Typically used to handle radial masses, the sleeve design allows the shaft to spin freely in the bushing. Sleeve bearings are sometimes used in agriculture, aircraft, and automotive applications in addition to in appliances, machine tools, and hydraulics.

So Leland housed the venture in a small concrete block building, positioned a few miles out of Detroit in the neighborhood of Mt. Clemens, Michigan. No pad has ever been supplied for sale to the general public. Before the Elvis stamps went on sale, nonetheless, some pads were evidently slipped to collectors, complete with interoffice directions and warnings from the U.S. Postal Service not to promote any stamps earlier than the designated day.
